The Greek Printmakers’ Association is a non profit institution, founded in 1987 by a group of artists aiming at promoting the art of printmaking. It has published collectors’ books and held lectures and a lot of exhibitions all over Greece. In 2003, Technohoros was established in the center of Athens (m. Acropolis), a small exhibition hall that holds temporary exhibitions of Greek and foreign printmakers.
Art lovers have the opportunity of coming into direct contact with the artists, learning about contemporary and traditional methods of printmaking and acquiring original words engraved and printed by the artists at reasonable prices.
